Do you know your neighbors? Do you visit them, and do they visit you? Do you greet the people you see all the time when you pass them by on the streets, whether or not you really know them (for example, classmates and customers)? I've always imagined how it would be like to have friendly neighbors to grow up together with. I had to relocate so frequently since little that I never stayed long enough at one place to establish friendships. Consequently, most of my neighbors are merely strangers. And as a matter of upbringing, children are not supposed to talk to strangers.
