So you got yourself a boo-boo

You smothered it with ointment

and slapped a band-aid on it

Couple of days later it ached

You've got an infection

You frowned at your band-aid

Wasn't it suppose to heal with time?

You had to decide

- rip it

Off it came with the hairy bits

Tried to suffocate the wound, and now it's worse than ever

Redness all around it in the shape of a band-aid

You thought to yourself, "This is probably going to scar."

Poured some alcohol on it

It stung so good

Maybe this time you should let it air out

It's not pretty

But you're not sure next time, you'll have the courage

to rip it again

Let it r.i.p.

Because life goes on
